How can you make a difference?

The consultant will work closely with the MoH, UNICEF, WHO, WFP, and relevant partners to support the development

and institutionalization of IYCF-E Guidelines, and to strengthen national capacity for wasting prevention and

management in emergency settings.

It is important to note that an IYCF-E Training of Trainers (ToT) module has already been developed and contextualized

for Libya. This module will serve as the technical foundation for the development of the national IYCF-E guidelines and

for the rollout of the National ToT trainings.

1. IYCF-E Guideline Development and Technical Alignment

Review the existing contextualized IYCF-E ToT module and assess its alignment with global IYCF-E and NiE

standards.

Consolidate and strengthen the module content to form the foundation of a comprehensive National Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies (IYCF-E) Guideline to be aligned with the Libyan humanitarian and health system context and adapting it into an operational and policy-level reference document for Libya.
