The Position:
The post of the Reproductive Health Commodity Security Program Specialist is located in the country office in Kiribati under Pacific Sub-regional Office in Fiji. Under the overall leadership and guidance of the Director/Representative and Deputy Director/Deputy Representative and the direct supervision of the Technical Advisor, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), the incumbent will work closely with technical and programme teams in the UNFPA Sub-Regional and multi country offices, implementing partners, and NGOs to enhance Reproductive Health Commodity Security (RHCS) in the countries under his/her supervision. S/He is responsible for leveraging data to inform decisions on timely fulfilment of countries’ needs, addressing bottlenecks, supporting country programme performance analysis and evidence-based formulation of programme strategies, and implementing targeted RHCS interventions including quantification, warehousing, distribution, strengthening contraceptive logistics management system (CLMS), inventory management, customs clearance, monitoring utilization and disposal, and facilitating stakeholders’ engagement.
